Lago Falkner

Lago Falkner was quite nice. For the first 6 hours there I was under the impression I had to pay 3pesos everytime I wanted to use the toilet and was busy wallowing in the injustice of being female. Turns out you just had to pay to use the shower. The boys still didn´t bother.

I still wasn´t feeling 100% better on our first day there and fell asleep on the beach. When I woke up I was buried.

We knew that Pachi´s friend Mito was doing the Seven Lakes route at the same time as us going the opposite was but we had been unable to contact them because there was hardly ever reception.
The best part of Lago Falkner was that we stumbled across them, they arrived the same day as we did. It was great because we partyed with them (and the rest of the campground - people don´t go to bed until around 4-6am) that night and then when it rained the next day (did I mention we bought a 100peso tent that didn´t have a fly?) we huddled into their tent with them and ate candy.
The photo is of one of Mito´s friends ¨Fireball¨. He taught us how to make up drinks of mate and gave us crackers because we had no breakfast.
Tent errection - here I had to go again because of my third place status. I wowed everyone with a time of 9minutes 7seconds. Craig had next tent duty.
